Peter D'Arruda
President & Executive Producer
Peter J. D'Arruda, better known as Coach Pete, is the best-selling author of seven books and co-author of others. Successonomics, his most noteworthy book, is co-authored with Steve Forbes.
Each week he hosts a wildly popular, nationally syndicated radio show called Financial Safari which is heard by millions each year. Coach Pete is also the winner of multiple Emmy, Quilly and Expy awards.
Since graduating from The University of North Carolina in 1988, he continues to keep his own financial literacy current while also promoting the education and training of others in the financial industry. For this, he has been named to the prestigious Forbes Leadership Council.
He is a proud father of his daughter, Caroline, with his wife, Kim.

Thomas Lipscomb

Thomas has a demonstrated history in the broadcast media industry with defined skills in design, photography, pre-press, post-production, radio and television.
At Broadcasting Experts, he oversees day to day facility and production operations, providing leadership to the production team and support to our network of recording talent.
Thomas has played the guitar, bass, drums and keys for over 25 years and enjoys street and landscape photography, although the majority of his time is now spent with his wife and four children making some pretty awesome memories.

Dave Perkins has been a broadcaster for over three decades where he hosted morning talk shows and had the opportunity to interview people from all walks of life including authors, politicians, and even those who made a difference in the hometown of the radio station.
Dave loves hearing new stories that have or could impact people and sharing those in a fun way. A veteran of the industry, he knows that you are never to old to learn something new.

Morgan Patrick

Morgan Patrick, a North Carolina native, has over 25 years experience in broadcast media. A familiar voice to many with network stops at UNC, Duke, and Performance Radio Network. Morgan also focuses on being a relationship builder and works to establish long term partnerships.
He is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with his focus being Broadcast Media/Mass Communication.
When not at work Morgan enjoys outdoor activities such as golf, hiking, skiing, and the beach. Originally from Boone NC, Morgan currently calls Durham home.
He is a proud father of daughter Jackie and son Nick.

Chrissy Paradis has been working in the broadcasting industry for over a decade. She has worked in radio and television at local and national levels, on shows like America's Got Talent, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and The Tim Brando Show.
During her time in radio, she worked with many personalities on projects that brought her from Raleigh-Durham to DC, Connecticut and Las Vegas.
Chrissy has booked thousands of guests in her career for on-air interviews that range from presidential candidates to Hall of Fame athletes, actors, legendary broadcasters and more.
Chrissy loves to make a difference in the lives of those around her and freestyle whenever she gets a moment to spit hot fire.

Gary Nolan

Gary has over 30 years experience as a Radio Program Director and on-air talent in some of the largest markets in the country, including New York, Minneapolis, Seattle, Denver and Kansas City.
He is originally from Long Island and is still a huge New York Yankee fan.
Gary is proud of the fact that he's worked in radio in every time zone!
He's married with 3 adult children and two grandchildren.

Chuck Kaiton
Radio & Podcasts
Charles "Chuck" Kaiton is in the Broadcasting Hall of Fame as the former radio play-by-play announcer for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League. Having over 40 years experience, he was with the team since the 1979–80 season, their first in the NHL while they were still the Hartford Whalers. He never missed a game in the team's NHL history.
Kaiton grew up an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan, even though he is from Detroit. He is an avid fan of cigars, and was quite pleased to be able to have one with the Stanley Cup at the Hurricanes 2006 Championship Parade.
He currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife, Mary. The couple have three sons, Nelson, Chuck and Russell.

Ben Alexander

Ben is an industry veteran with decades of professional broadcast experience.
Working with the Tar Heel Radio Network, Ben combines his passion for Tar Heel basketball, football and media by helping make sure every Carolina victory is broadcast from his position on the sidelines all the way from coast to coast.
When not behind a sound board or editing desk, Ben volunteers his time at local non-profits and spends time with his family and grandchildren.
Working with the Tar Heel Radio Network, Ben combines his passion for Tar Heel basketball, football and media by helping make sure every Carolina victory is broadcast from his position on the sidelines all the way from coast to coast.
When not behind a sound board or editing desk, Ben volunteers his time at local non-profits and spends time with his family and grandchildren.
Matt Figueras

Matt brings a diverse array of skills to the team. He got his start performing live music in his early teens and moved on to work as an audio and lights technician at a performing arts theater.
At Broadcasting Experts, you may see Matt behind the soundboard, editing radio shows, or working on scripts for new content.
He resides in Goldsboro, NC, with his wife, Emily. They have two dogs and about 50,000 bees keeping them busy.

Jose Plaza

Jose Plaza has been immersed in a multicultural career for over 27 years. His experience in post production and television editing has taken him to Spain, Germany and now the United States.
He is also a visual storyteller who is always looking for surprising and innovative ways to communicate ideas and concepts. Always ready for a new project, Jose listens to a client's marketing and creative aspirations and can bring any dream to any screen using his breadth of production knowledge.
When not in the studio, Jose enjoys discovering North Carolina's amazing nature and outdoor life. He loves to relax while sailing at the lake and is happy see his two daughters enjoying American culture.
